Cinco de Mayo Must-Make Recipes!

Hi Reader!

Mexican cuisine is arguably my favorite type of food, so it's very difficult for me to narrow down what to share with you in this email. In fact, you might be getting a round two next Saturday....

While I don't claim to share authentic Mexican food, I do love sharing quick and easy takes on some of your favorite Mexican and southwestern dishes. Below are some of my favorites, but you can see them all here.

I'm also sprinkling in some fun ideas for a festive party!

Mexican Rice

It's the perfect side dish and you'll probably be surprised by how easy it is to prepare!

Fun and Festive Headband

I just think this is so cute!

Chipotle Salsa

This is a take on my restaurant style salsa, but with a smoky twist! We've been loving it lately!

Beautiful Table Runner

Isn't it pretty?

Slow Cooker Pork Tacos

Stick these in your crockpot and they'll cook all day. Your house will be smelling delicious by dinner time!

Fun Taco Game

My family loves games like these. And it comes with name tags for your new taco name!

Sheet Pan Shrimp Fajitas

Or, if you prefer chicken, chicken sheet pan fajitas. These are SO easy to make, it almost feels like cheating. Make sure to use homemade fajita seasoning for the best results!

Colorful Earrings

A statement piece for sure!

The Best Pico de Gallo

Or at least I think it's the best. It's a must have on Cinco de Mayo. And don't forget the guac!

Taco Holders

Because eating tacos doesn't have to be messy!

7 Layer Dip

This one has a couple of secrets that makes it the absolute best!!

You know I have to know -- what recipe do you plan to make first?

PS: Because I can't help myself, a few other faves: Taco Salad, Crockpot Refried Beans (or Instant Pot!) Mexican Corn Dip, Chicken Fajita Stuffed Spaghetti Squash, Instant Pot Carnitas, Drunken Beans, and Mexicali Dip.

If you want a Mexican-inspired breakfast too, try churro pancakes.
