The Latest and Greatest on Rachel Cooks!

Hi Reader!

I'm constantly scanning my site for outdated recipes, things that need tweaking, or recipes that need new photos. Sometimes I'll get a comment with a question (for example, "does this recipe work in an air fryer?") and that will lead the direction of our recipe testing.

This week, we updated two great sauce recipes. The arugula pesto is so good on a piece of toasted sourdough bread with a fried egg on top. It's slightly more mild than traditional basil pesto, but in a really great way, still boasting a very complex and irresistible flavor.

We tested the BBQ sauce with and without ketchup, so that you can make it whichever way you prefer.

The rest of the recipes in this email are a bit of a hodge-podge, but they're super tasty nonetheless! The black-eyed pea salad is one of my favorite things to meal prep for healthy eating all week.
